The floor is going in...
Hello there! I have made some progress on Rosehill Cottage, thanks to my handyman neighbor who cut a board to size for the base. Two of the walls are now affixed and I have been working on the tile flooring. I have been cutting pieces of cardstock 1/4" by 1/2", and gluing them in a two horizontal, two vertical pattern. I'm not done with the painting, grouting and sealing part, but I am happy enough with how it is coming along to share it. Hope that you all are doing well!
It's looking great Alessandra!!I'm looking forward to seeing more!! Lucky you to have a handyman neighbour. Think most of us could do with one of those!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Carrie! Doing the floor has been fun - in an obsessive compulsive kind of way. And yes, the handyman neighbor has been helpful many, many times. My husband is in IT, so is very handy with computers, but not this kind of stuff. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteI love the colors. I also like the texture of the walls.
ReplyDeleteThe floor looks GREAT! I love how you are painting the tiles. I am looking forward to seeing it grouted.
ReplyDeleteLucky you to have such a nice neighbor.
The tiling on the floor looks so real! I feel like I could reach out and feel all the textures.
